ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that manifests itself in areas of the brain that regulate emotions, behaviors, and executive function. It is typically diagnosed in childhood and might extend into adulthood. Children with ADHD have difficulty paying attention, managing impulsive behaviors or being extremely active. The main difficulties of ADHD are caused by these neurological abnormalities. Though everyone suffers from hyperactivity or paying attention on occasion, these difficulties pose major daily problems for children and adults with ADHD. Children with ADHD, on the other hand, do not just grow out of these behaviors. The symptoms persist, can be severe, and can cause problems at school, at home, or with friends. A youngster who has ADHD may dream in the day, forget or misplace stuff, wriggle or fidget excessively, make thoughtless blunders, or take unnecessary risks, and have trouble getting along with people. Our licensed therapists have expertise in analyzing this disorder and providing related medication and therapy to all age groups.
